(Nauzubillah!) A different command was given by AllahSWT in public to ProphetSAS which is completely opposite to a command given privately in a Hadith!
Their Fallacy:
The Hadith quoted was “I have been commanded to fight against people so long as they do not declare that there is no god but Allah, and he who professed it was guaranteed the protection of his property and life on my behalf except for the right affairs rest with Allah” (Sahih Muslim).
If they take individual verses and apply out of context to find the contradiction that does’nt exist then their imagination will run wild! AllahSWT says – And fight them until persecution is no more, and religion is all for Allah. But if they cease, then lo! Allah is Seer of what they do (S 8:39). The Hadith they quoted aligns perfectly with the verse of Surah Anfal. Now would they claim the verses are abrogated or worse – They conflict with each other (MazAllah)!
